Even if your transmission is broken in and well used, it’s almost certain to benefit from a service. This service kit will clean out debris and provide a new filter and fluid.
When worn-out transmissions are turned in to us for cores, we regularly find that poor maintenance was a major reason the transmission failed. Clutch debris buildup will plug the transmission filter, causing pump starvation, low line pressure, and damage. A restricted transmission filter problem can exist for a long period of time, only to become apparent only when it’s too late.
