Installation Note:
When installing your new flexplate, the factory steel spacer ring must be removed. Failing to do so can cause both Transmission Pump and Converter damage.
In factory form, your truck’s shifts are a little less than firm. Once you increase your shift pressures with a valve body or a built transmission, the factory flexplate may not be up to the task.
