Here at Power Driven Diesel we are proud to offer the best in-cab fuel control for mechanical diesel trucks on the planet: the AFC Live In-Cab Fuel Tuner (patent pending). This is the only fuel
tuner to offer infinite levels of adjustability for your diesel. Not only does AFC Live offer incredibly fine adjustments to max fueling, it also is the only kit with in-cab adjustment to the rate at which the fuel is applied. Before AFC Live, the only way to adjust the fueling rate on a P-pump truck was to adjust the star wheel in the AFC. With our kit, you can adjust the fuel rate to advance slowly for better smoke control and fuel economy or let the rack travel fast for ultimate power. All of this live tuning is possible in-cab while driving with the twist of a knob!
AFC Live In-Cab performs max diesel fueling adjustment, fuel rate, and instant full-power mode. This feature allows maximum fueling at the flip of a switch! Go to full race mode to show your buddies who’s boss and flip right back to your pre-determined settings. This version of AFC LIVE also comes with an integrated gauge to see how much pressure is running through the AFC system. This is useful when tuning and for making quick changes.
AFC Live Fuel Control KnobThe fuel control knob allows full adjustability of the amount of fuel available to you with your AFC Live. If you want more power, turn the knob up (clockwise); if you want lower EGTs, turn the fuel control knob down (counter-clockwise). It’s as easy as it gets!
Fuel Rate KnobThe fuel rate knob allows the user to adjust the rate at which the fuel comes on, matching the fuel curve to their specific needs. Want more bottom-end power? Turn it up. Want less smoke? Turn it down.
AFC LIVE Full Fuel SwitchThe full fuel switch allows you to release all of the fuel potential available in your truck with the flip of a switch. We have customers calling us, constantly commenting that “It’s like nitrous!” If you are towing a heavy load up a steep hill, need to pass quickly on the freeway, or just want more power on tap, the full fuel switch makes it as easy as possible.
Pressure GaugeBecause our AFC Live does not come with any pre-made settings, it is infinitely adjustable. However, each combination of turning the knobs has a unique correlating pressure inside of the AFC housing, and this pressure will read on the gauge. What this means is that for every “tune” you find/create using an AFC Live, you will have a unique corresponding pressure shown on the gauge that, if noted down, can be found again. For example, a daily driving “tune” may read 25 psi, a towing “tune” may read 18 psi, and a racing “tune” may read 45 psi on the gauge. Imagine that you have been driving with your daily driving “tune” (25 psi) all week, and this weekend you want to go camping. So when the workweek ends, you hook up the fifth wheel and start driving; you then turn the knobs on the AFC Live box until the gauge reads 18 psi and you have found your towing “tune” again.
Max Travel KitChoosing the right max travel kit is essential to ensuring that your AFC Live performs to its maximum potential. The stock AFC springs are meant to compress corresponding with stock fueling/boost pressures; when you increase fuel/boost, those stock springs compress much faster, making your power come on much quicker. While this sounds great, it isn’t really what most people want out of their truck. With an AFC Live, the fuel rate knob allows you to control the speed at which you reach your maximum fuel setting. If you have too light of a spring, it will compress too fast and the fuel rate knob will not function. Choosing the right max travel kit will allow the fuel rate knob to work to its full potential, allowing maximum adjustment of how slow/fast your fuel comes on. Because every truck is different and has different upgrades, we have provided a broad selection of max travel kits to choose from for a variety of needs.

AFC live with gauge. This was the first mod that I made to my 1997 dodge 2wd 3500 completely stock 12 valve with 54,000 miles. The instructions made installation very easy and boy did it change the performance of the truck. If I had to put it in words it unleashed a power deman under the hood!!! Amazing product and most definitely at a great price. I look forward to buying more products from Power Driven Diesel.

Installed on a ’98 215 pump, truck has 4K’s, 5x.016s, and 64mm turbo. AFC Live is an awesome tool, I can dial the fueling back enough the truck almost feels like stock power. It’s amazing how fine the adjustments are, even down to as little as an 1/8th of a turn getting it just right. I’ve spent a stupid amount of time adjusting my AFC, I was able to dial fueling in so much better in a matter of 5 minutes with AFC Live. Such a difference on EGT control. Definitely have more fuel with the max travel hit as well, the max travel kit is well worth the extra money. Love being able to just flip a switch and go to max fueling and just flip it again and be right back in the perfect tune. The install is very simple, and the instructions are extremely detailed. Product quality is amazing, the AFC Live box looks great. Spent some time on the phone with Lonnon and he was extremely helpful and friendly. I will be ordering again from PDD, these guys are awesome!

Id like to start off by saying The team at PDD are top notch, very helpful and will take their time explaining how things work and what would suit your set up best. That’s why I keep going back to them
I was having a tough time finding the right afc spring to run with my twins. ( hx35/66) (5×14 191’s and a 425cc pump @20°) yes , small twins I wanted a fun fast spooling set up and boy that’s what I got. I looked and searched forums for hours and no remotely came close to answering my question about how to set the afc with compounds .Everyone says you need a stiff spring but I don’t like the driving habbits because I don’t drive with a heavy foot.
I’ve tried all 3 of PDD’s afc springs ( I am no afc tuning guru) **I tuned my truck to my driving habbits and turbos** everyone has different preferences . Me personally I like the 30-35psi and the 35-45psi spring the best. Normal stoplight driving accelerating at 1800-2000rpm the truck is at 18-20psi @700-800°. I don’t drive very hard my truck rarely sees over 2400 with the stiffer spring I found my self higher in the rpm range for the same (feeling) acceleration that had with a softer spring, I will add the stiffer spring did run a little cleaner

When I bought my 1995 12v 5 speed with a 175 hp pump it had a #10 plate an intake and an exhaust. I thought I was fast until I put my AFC live with a 30-35psi max travel kit and a Pdd turbo tuner on!!! installation was fairly easy with the exception of the tamper-proof screws which I had to borrow my mom’s vehicle to drive down to use my local repair shops bench vise. My AFC housing is slid forward all the way with just enough pre-boost fuel to light the turbo with minimal smoke. I keep the setting at about where I bought my truck and only use kill mode for merging, passing, or the occasional cocky Duramax 😀 my old setup would not even get above 1000 egt’s. with the AFC live I can hit 1300+ in kill mode which leads me to believe that it is flowing substantially more fuel. I called them and asked if my clutch would hold the power in kill mode before I installed and they said that it wouldn’t. It is holding fine leading me to believe that my truck has an upgraded clutch of which I was unaware. I was getting around 14mpg with 4.10’s and 35’s with the AFC live I’ve seen it jump up to around 16mpg’s with no change in driving habits. which surprised me. I kind of have a lead foot. I’ve had it for around 6 months now with no issues. I just put 4k governer springs on this weekend and it is a whole different animal. Overall I would highly recommend an AFC life to anyone with a p-pumped Cummins that is looking for the best bang for buck upgrade. I had some questions when I was installing it and I called in and got the installation help I needed. I really like working with this company for all of my parts because they are still doing r&d and creating new products for these old dodge trucks. Both of the owners have a passion for these p-pumped dodges and they put major effort into making their products reliable and highly functional. I look forward to being able to make my next round of upgrades and will only work with PDD from now on. #mechanicalmafia

Put this in my 96 12v made a big difference in power control. I have a 45ft 5th wheel and now I can’t wait to pull it since I can control my egts way better. I have a Colt stage 3 cam and he351 turbo and if I flip that switch it’s insane power! The installation of the AFC Live was a breeze I didn’t take my fuel lines off and it still wasn’t hard. The instructions where very detailed and had plenty of information and pictures. Unfortunately I had to put 2 screws in my dash but trust me I’m not taking this out ever! I recommend this product for any 12v owner it made a huge difference! PDD team was great and very helpful on getting my pakage to me.

First off the team at Powerdriven Diesel hats off to each and every one of you. I have a slightly modded old 94 12 valve with work boxes that gets used and abused on a daily on the jobsite. I did everything you could do to the old truck that I think almost every 12 valve owner does to unlock the hidden power from the factory. Old truck now just turned 475k miles. Was an original automatic transmission and did the nv4500 swap with a South bend clutch flywheel set up. After being a dedicated viewer of your YouTube channel I decided to give the AFC live a shot with the max travel kit. Stock turbo cold air intake 5″ down pipe out 2 6″ stacks! I didn’t think a small little box was gonna make much of a difference but boy was I wrong! Love love love this thing! Easy set up I literally did on the side of the street out in front of my house because I was bored on this covid-19 lock down! After call into the technical support line at the powerdriven diesel shop and talking back and forth with the guys getting the run down on the AFC live in live time they really make you feel like your part of the team and stand by their products and even more their reputation! Hands down will be doing much more business probably all of my diesel performance business strictly with Powerdriven diesel from here on out! When it’s time to do the 6.7 build WE will being going all out and building complete reliable insane monster! Unless I get lucky with “AGNES”!! Fingers crossed! Thanks again guy’s you truly are everything and more that the diesel community needs in its corner!
Yours truly,
Jestin Hashagen

Just installed afc live on my 97 12v today. It was simple as could be took me less then an hour if you don’t include the trip to Lowe’s to get replacement bolts for the tamper proof bolts. This is hands down the greatest product I’ve purchased for my 12v. Huge thanks to the genius technicians at PDD

Bought for my cummins swap 1986 f250. Mounted right up in the cab to factory screws. Feels like a quality product and well worth the cost. Hopefully it helps dial in the performance of this swap like ive been reading it does!
