With the amount of time and money we know you put into getting the most from your engine, we don’t want to see anyone get robbed of power and performance by something as simple as a boost leak. This is why we came up with the Universal Boost Leak Tester.
This simple kit allows you to test virtually any turbo and intake system for power sucking leaks.
What is Included in the Universal Boost Leak Tester?
If you select the Universal Boost Leak Tester, you’ll get everything you need to test for leaks on the most common stock and aftermarket turbos and systems. The Power Driven Diesel Universal Boost Kit includes the following:
- A 4”, 5”, and 5.5” coupler hoses/boots
- Hose clamps for each boot size
- Swivel adapter for pressure connection
- Air pressure gauge
These will allow you to test most stock and standard frame turbos as well as most large frame turbos quickly and easily.
How to Use the PDD Universal Boost Leak Tester
Will has been working on our latest giveaway truck and the engine is stuck at 790hp. We’re not sending it out below 800hp, so it’s the perfect time to show you how to use our new universal boost leak tester to find any leaks in your engine.
This tester comes with a swivel air connection to allow easy hook up to your compressor hoses. Additionally, this kit includes boots to fit 4”, 5”, and 5.5” intakes. These multiple coupler options make it compatible with most major turbo sizes and manufacturers.
Simply select the right coupler size for your intake and attach the necessary collars. Adjust your boost pressure, and attach it to the air connection and pressurize your system. Then, simply listen for any leaks and chase them down.
It really is as easy as Will makes it look to identify any leaks in your system. Head over to the shop and pick one up for your engine today. If you have any questions, we are here to help.
