The springs feature 175 lbs. of seat pressure and 375 lbs. of open pressure. These street performance valve springs will accommodate the vast majority of performance street camshafts on the market while maintaining reasonable open pressure for cam lobe and lifter/tappet life. As with any aftermarket valve spring upgrade with higher-than-stock pressure, it’s recommended that a higher-quality engine oil is used to protect the cam and tappets.
