This Power Driven Diesel CNC Ported Street Series Cylinder Head is an upgraded cylinder head for your 2003-2018 Dodge RAM 5.9L/6.7L Cummins. The 6.7L Cummins cylinder head was designed to supersede the 5.9L cylinder head. For your ease and ours, Power Driven Diesel only offers 6.7L Cummins cylinder heads due to their ability to work on both—just be sure to use the correct model year of head gasket that matches the cylinder block of your application.
Stock Cummins heads are notorious for dropping valve seats as they accumulate hard miles from heavy towing or street hot rodding. The solution is hardened and oversized valve seats that won’t drop when you’re hauling or hot rodding! Each PDD Stage 1 Towing Performance cylinder head is upgraded with hardened and oversized press-in valve seats, then CNC stage 1 ported for a 20% increase producing 198 CFM intake flow and 208 CFM exhaust flow. The heads are then finished up with a multi-angle valve job, new stock-sized valves, new valve guide liners, and fully assembled with locks, retainers, new valve seals, and upgraded PDD 4.5k valve springs.
Many hardworking tow rigs and heavy hauling street trucks have been sidelined by a blown or popped freeze plug under the valve cover, which immediately mixes coolant and engine oil. Power Driven Diesel uses threaded plugs in lieu of soft freeze plugs so you never have to worry about coolant leaks under the valve cover. The PDD Stage 1 CNC Ported Tow Series Cylinder Head is recommended for up to 900 hp and is guaranteed to exceed factory specifications, giving you the performance you can count on. While these heads have been tested up to 1,500 hp applications, they were designed to excel in towing and moderate 900HP and under street applications looking for maximum reliability and lower EGT (exhaust gas temperature).
