Power Driven Machined Stepped 3rd/Direct Reaction Plate

Power Driven Diesel offers this machined stepped 3rd/direct reaction plate to allow for more third-gear direct clutches. Required to fit 6 GPZ clutches in a 47RH or 47RE drum and up to 7 GPZ clutches in a 48RE drum.

Note: Some early 47RH and 47RE third/direct drums have a taller aluminum apply piston and will require a new thin .062″ snap ring to ensure that adequate clutch clearance is maintained. A minimum of .012″ per clutch and a maximum of .020″ per clutch is recommended for most applications.
