Note: While this 20W-50 oil does provide adequate wear and detergent protection for regular street use, the thicker 20W-50 viscosity is better suited for climate-controlled vehicles and/or race engines with looser bearing clearances that are set up for thicker oil. If your worn-out street engine is struggling with hot oil pressure, this fluid is a sensible solution that will make a noticeable increase in hot idle oil pressure.
