The Power Driven Diesel 117 lb 24v 4.5K Valve Springs were created to address valve float on tuned up street trucks and hard working tow trucks. In the past, competitors have resold Dodge Neon SRT4 110 or 120 lb valve springs with excessively high spring rates that wiped cam lobes. We designed the Power Driven 117 lb 4.5K springs to have 27% more seat pressure than stock to handle much higher boost levels with a much milder (stock-like) spring rate to keep peak open pressure with-in 5% of stock valve springs. These custom and cost effective valve springs utilize your stock Cummins factory forged retainers and locks and are reliable up to 4,500 RPM. Although these springs have been successfully run to 5000 RPM, we recommend limiting maximum RPM to 4,500 with OEM retainers and locks. PDD 4.5K valve springs are suitable for all 24v Cummins street engines pushing up to 95 psi boost and a maximum of 4500 RPM.
