The Pacbrake C18040 Switch-Pac is an auxiliary brake control system for manual transmission diesels equipped with air brakes. It allows you to manually activate the trailer brakes in the event that the trailer’s air brakes are not functioning properly. The Switch-Pac system consists of a control panel with a switch that yoou can use to activate the trailer brakes, as well as a relay box and wiring harness that connects the system to the vehicle’s air brake system. The Pacbrake C18040 Switch-Pac is designed to be easy to install and compatible with a variety of vehicles. Including Cummins, Power Stroke, Duramax, and more. The Switch-Pac can operate not only your exhaust brake, but other accessories such as Pacbrake’s air horns.
