Power Driven Diesel 176/202 Budget Towing Camshaft – Bundle

• This cam comes standard drilled/tapped for your convenience and features a threaded nose for the optional upgraded bolt-on cam retainer kit, linked above.

This Budget Builder Towing Cast Cam is a Dodge Cummins 12V/24V Camshaft.  This is a 370hp cam from a 12v B-Series Cummins engine.  This cam has an approximate 176/202 profile and is a great for lowering EGT’s and for better spool up.  This cam can be used with stock turbo/injectors as well. This is a great cam to put in during a rebuild for a little added power.

We recommend using 1.3″ 24V tappets with the Budget Builder Cast Cam regardless of whether it’s going in a 12V, 24V ISB, or 24V ISBE. The cam does still have the 12v fuel pump lobe so be sure to check clearances (especially on a ’03-Up Common Rail utilizing 1.5″ tappets)  The pump lobe can be ground off if not needed on these applications as well.
