The Banks Power Twin-Ram Intake Manifold doubles the inlet area, optimizes air distribution into the cylinder head, and flows the boosted air proportionately into all 6 cylinders. The equalized airstreams do away with lopsided internal temperatures, balance cylinder air volume, and produce smoother output. By driving a greater charge of air into each chamber, the Twin-Ram amps up the power rating, improves mileage and durability, and reduces emissions.

I tow a lot with my 97 Dodge ram 3500 12v.
Wanted to take precautions as to help keep things cooler and get the boosted air into all cylinders. I see a lot of banks products out there but I do not see this twin pack on the older trucks such as mine. I do see a lot of the single tubs that are larger, trying to be different I guess.
It is not a tough project, however I did run into slight problems that they do not mention or maby it’s just my truck.
1- need to remove the wiring harness that runs along the top just underneath the cowl. This may give you more room to get the rear bolt at the top back by the firewall in.
( I ended up sticking the bolt in first then putting it in place. It’s very tight so it was kinda tough making sure the gasket stayed in place.)
2 – fuel line #3 hits the bottom of the front intake. Had to undo #3 line then get everything on the intake lined up tightened down then get the line put in still may need to take off and try and bend slightly with out destroying it
3 – when installed the grid heater on the back of the intake, the bolt that holds the ground side in place sticks out to far and hits the fuel lines.
4- lastly banks moved the oil dip stick bolt over the the driver’s side more, so now the dip stick is right along the cover of the brake fluid fill.
Maby I am missing something on this, or it’s a design flaw. Maby it’s the way I installed it. I don’t know but what I do know is I Would love to have power driven diesel on a twin ram intake with there logo instead of banks but hey let’s see if it does what banks says it does.
