aFe 46-70042 Front Differential Cover with Machined Fins

aFe Power’s front differential cover brings performance engineering to the protection of your truck’s front end. This differential cover is constructed from durable die-cast A380 aluminum with reinforced ribs for maximum strength. The Pro Series differential covers include an oil level sight glass and a deep-reach magnetic dipstick for maximum protection. This cover fits the AAM 9.25-14 bolt axles. This cover uses the Dodge gasket 5086682AA, but it is not included when this item is ordered. (The available gasket is aFe 46-70045.)

3.5-Quart Lube Capacity:
This cover has about a 3.5-quart lube capacity at the factory line (the factory cover holds about 2.5 quarts).

Built-In External Fins:
Built-in external fins transfer heat from the fluid to the outside air for maximum cooling.

Magnetic Drain/Fill Plug:
This system incorporates a large magnetic drain and a deep-reach fill plug to capture loose particles for maximum rear-end protection.

Oil Level Sight Glass:
Pre-installed is a large oil level sight glass with a calibration plug set to the factory fluid level to eliminate overfilling.
