This brand-new Bladerunner Intercooler represents the next generation of intercoolers. They utilize a 3.15″ bar-and-plate design that is 15% larger than the competitors’ and outflows OE-style tube-and-fin core designs by 74%! This design results in quicker and more measurable heat dissipation. The unique BladeRunner end tanks are constructed out of 3/16″ TIG-welded aluminum-plate tanks that incorporate 3 multi-directional vanes that efficiently direct airflow through the entire core for maximum cooling.
Multi-Directional Vane Technology: The patented BladeRunner MDV technology is used to direct hot airflow through the entire intercooler core. This allows for greater cooling than competitor units.
3.15″ Bar-and-Plate Core Design: The bar-and-plate core design allows for greater airflow and increased heat dissipation over the much-smaller tube-and-fin design used by the OEM and other aftermarket brands.
Multiple Auxiliary Ports: 4 tapped 1/8″ ports are supplied for easy installation of gauges, temp sensors, or nitrous oxide systems.
Billet Aluminum Inlet/Outlets: Each BladeRunner Intercooler uses billet aluminum inlets and outlets for superior sturdiness and longevity.
TIG Welded: 100% TIG welded by certified craftsmen for race-proven strength and durability. TIG welding provides the strongest welds, reducing stress cracks.
Every BladeRunner Intercooler is tested at 200 psi, which is perfect for high-boost applications. In recent testing, the BladeRunner Intercooler produced a 200-degree temperature drop and a 100-degree EGT (exhaust gas temperature) drop, as well as increasing airflow by 74% over stock. This intercooler also outflowed the Banks unit by 25%.
This intercooler is 50-state legal for 2008-2010 models (CARB EO D-550-7).
