68RFE Transmission Pan-Off Upgrade Kit

Upgrade your 2007.5-2018 68RFE Cummins transmission with the Power Driven “Pan Off” Transmission Upgrade Kit.  This complete package includes all the essential components to improve the performance and durability of your 68RFE transmission.

 

Your factory 68RFE transmission valve body is mechanically limited to 160 psi, whereas the factory transmission tune will command up to 180 psi.  This 12% loss of line pressure negatively affects the power capacity of your 68RFE transmission.  To address this problem, the Power Driven high pressure 68RFE valve body is mechanically limited to 250 psi; allowing the transmission to obtain full commanded line pressure resulting in a 12% gain with stock tuning.  Trucks with aftermarket transmission tuning commanding higher than stock pressure will see an even greater benefit with the increased line pressure available with this kit.  The PDD High Pressure valve body is constructed with billet accumulators, billet channel plate and new OEM electronics allowing your Cummins transmission to operate more efficiently, resulting in smoother shifts and greater overall consistency.  To address the low filtration capacity and failure prone plastic nipple, this “Pan-Off” kit includes an upgraded capacity spin-on filter with and an upgraded steel nipple.  Also included in the kit is a new replacement suction filter, reusable pan gasket, deep (plus 3 quart) aluminum transmission pan, and enough fluid to complete the job.

 

The “Pan Off” transmission upgrade is all about extending the life of your transmission and improving its performance, protecting your transmission from the most common issues such as delayed shifting, dragging clutches, low pressure, and blown out accumulator plates, all of which can cause premature transmission damage and costly complete transmission rebuilds.
