It is no secret that the factory 68RFE transmission is plagued with issues, many of which stem from the valve body itself. With worn out valves, warped plates, leaking passages, and blown out accumulator plates, it can wreak havoc on the internals of your transmission and inevitably cause the need for a complete rebuild.
The Power Driven Diesel 68RFE High Pressure Valve Body is a great solution to these problems. With the custom transfer plate, our valve body allows the transmission to make up to 250psi line pressure** where the factory was only capable of 160psi, which allows a 40% increase in clutch holding capability, and the billet channel plate prevents warping at these higher pressures which causes cross leaks and valve bore wear.
Our 68RFE High Pressure Valve Body also utilizes billet accumulator pistons from the factory plastic, for a more reliable seal. Each and every valve body gets inspect and tested for bore wear, and any issues present are addressed as necessary to ensure only the best gets sent down the assembly line!

**Valve Body is capable of running 250psi, but will require transmission tuning or a pressure box to achieve. 250psi is not recommended with a factory transmissions, and up to 225psi be ran in built transmissions.
